What data Milimon keeps, where it stays, how to change your analytics choice and how to delete it.
Last updated: September 2026
What stays on your device
Your preferences (theme, language, currency) and the latest values of each calculator are saved in your browser's local storage (localStorage). They never leave your device or reach any server.
You can delete them at any time from your browser settings (site data).
Analytics (only with your permission)
If you accept, we load Google Tag Manager and, through it, Google Analytics, to measure in aggregate which pages are visited and which tools are used: for example, that the waste factor was calculated, an example was loaded or a button was tapped.
We never send the numbers you enter in the calculators. Google does receive technical data about the visit (truncated IP address, browser, device, approximate country) and sets its own cookies (_ga) to tell visits apart.
If you don't answer or you reject, Google's scripts are not loaded and no analytics cookie is set.
Changing your choice
You can turn analytics on or off at any time below; the necessary cookies are always on. If you turn analytics off, we stop sending data from that moment on.
Analytics is turned off on this site: no third-party script is loaded.
Accounts (optional)
If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we store your name, email and profile picture as the provider shares them, to show who is signed in. We never see or store your password.
Your profile keeps your currency, language and theme, the latest values of each calculator and your calculation history, so they follow you to any device. The data lives on our server (API hosted on Render, database on Neon), travels encrypted and only you can access yours.
We don't sell or share this data and we don't use it for advertising.
How to delete your data
Open “My account” (from the menu), choose “Delete my account” and confirm. Your profile, saved calculations and user are deleted right away.
If you signed in with Facebook, you can also remove Milimon's access from your Facebook settings (Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites). Removing it there doesn't delete your Milimon account: use the previous step for that.
Data saved on this device (without an account) is deleted from your browser settings (site data).
